Taking a snapshot of a WebLogic domain
You can use this plugin to take a snapshot of cell configuration and retrieve it back to the framework server for use in performing comparisons over time.
Prerequisites for taking snapshots
- For taking snapshots, the relevant WebLogic client jars (wlfullclient.jar, wlclient.jar) will need to be present on the framework server - the location can be configured on the product tab on the environments page when WebLogic 11 is selected as the plugin.
- You must enable IIOP on the target WebLogic server. In the AdminServer go to protocols -> IIOP and tick the enabled box. Also set the username and password to be the same as the Admin user used to access the console
