System Backup
Overview
This section will give you an overview to make a backup of the framework data and project files.
The backup process includes all configuration data like users, user groups, roles, project groups, environments, infrastructure, resources, job plans and projects. Additionally will package all project files.
The only user allowed to make this operation is the super user, by default it is "mvadmin".
Making System Backup
Please follow the steps below:
- Go to System menu -> System Manager
- Select System Backup / Restore Tab
- Select the path where the backup will be placed locally where the framework instance is running, by default the path will be MV_HOME/backups
- Finally press Backup button and confirm the operation.
This will run a system backup job, you can seen the progress in Running Jobs page and then when it is finished, it can be seen in previous jobs under "Other Jobs" tab, please check the job log to get further details.
