Community Edition License Overview

This CE License comes already installed in RD framework. By default RD will take this license if there is no license already installed in your system.

CE License has a limitation of 10 nodes (servers). When the user wants to add the 11th node (server) in RD, an ERROR message will be shown as follows: "The application has exceeded the maximum number of allowed servers for Community Edition License. Please contact MidVision." and the creation of the node will be cancelled.

Troubleshooting: If RD has already defined more than 11 nodes (servers) and the RD license is switched to a CE, RD will ask for a new license. To solve this, please ask to MidVision for a trial license for a short period of time in order to delete all the unnecessary nodes and keep only 11 defined in RD, then it can be switched to CE.
